    Terms of Service

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Zentry digital key platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

    2. Description of Service

    Zentry provides a digital key solution for hospitality properties, enabling guests to access their accommodations using their mobile devices. Our Service includes mobile applications, web portals, and related technologies for property access management.

    3. User Accounts

    To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

    • Provide accurate and complete information
    • Maintain the security of your account credentials
    • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
    • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

    4. Digital Key Usage

    Your digital key is personal and non-transferable. You agree to:

    • Use the digital key only for your authorized accommodation
    • Not share your digital key with unauthorized persons
    • Report any issues with key access immediately
    • Follow property rules and regulations

    Where a property requires identity verification before access is issued, you will be asked to complete it through Stripe Identity. The property receives only the outcome of that check and never the document itself.

    4a. Billing and Subscriptions

    This section applies to properties and account owners on a paid plan; it does not apply to guests, who are never charged by Zentry.

    • Paid plans are billed per room and processed by Stripe. Card details are provided directly to Stripe and are never handled by Zentry.
    • Pricing, billing period, renewal and cancellation follow the plan selected at checkout.
    • Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled, and remain active through the end of the paid period.
    • By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms as the payment processor for your subscription.

    5. SMS Communications

    Zentry sends only transactional SMS messages related to your stay. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. By using our Service and providing your phone number, you may receive:

    • One-time passcodes (OTP) for authentication
    • Digital key activation notifications
    • Check-in and check-out reminders
    • Reservation confirmations and updates
    • Security alerts and urgent notifications

    During guest login, you may opt in to receive SMS notifications about your stay. This consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP to any message. One-time passcodes for authentication cannot be disabled while using our Service.

    6. Prohibited Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • Attempt to bypass or circumvent security measures
    • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
    • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
    • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
    • Share access credentials with unauthorized parties

    7. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zentry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service.

    8. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
